REACTION TO A RETROSPECTIVE SURVEY ON FLU CONAZOLE PRESCRIPTION

A recently published survey on fluconazole prescription and use is bia sed because of inappropriate methodology: such as wrong choice of init ial guidelines, inadequate sample size, inadequate method for data col lection, biased interpretation on therapeutic indications and efficacy . Therefore, conclusions are invalid and not supported by data. String ent methodology is mandotary if a retrospective survey is to be helpfu l for clinical practice.
