Abstract
The genome of pseudorabies virus Ercegovac vaccine strain was anlysed by the restriction enzymes Bam HI, Kpn I and Bgl II. The results of th e autoradiograms show that The Ercegovac vaccine strain contains a gen ome that can be classified as a das 3 DNA molecule. The analysis with Bam HI enzyme shows the loss of the Bam HI cleavage site between fragm ents 8 and 8'. The genome of Ercegovac strain has a deletion in the Us region.
