Abstract
The volume properties of aqueous solutions of MgCl2 are experimentally studied at a temperature of 298-573 K and pressure of 2-40 MPa in the concentration range of 0.111-1.037 mole/kg H2O. Equations of state ar e formulated, and the limiting partial molar volumes of MgCl2 and BaCl 2 are calculated.
