Abstract
Calculations are performed of a supersonic boundary layer on a flat pl ate with one and five zones of local heating of its surface. Within th e concept of ''displacement body,'' allowance is made for the interact ion between the boundary layer and external nonviscous flow. It is sho wn that the inclusion of viscous-nonviscous interaction leads to signi ficant variation in the distribution of the local friction coefficient .
