Abstract
A child with familial hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) underwe nt allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) at age 5 months. At th at time he showed delayed psychomotor development, and computed tomogr aphy revealed diffuse calcification. After BMT, a gradual neurodevelop mental normalization was observed. The potential ability of BMT to rev erse neurodevelopmental deterioration in HLH should be considered.
