Abstract
The distributions of both the quadrupolar and the isotopic chemical sh ift interactions are shown to give multiple-quantum MAS spectra that r emain tilted after shearing. For both types of distribution, the theor etical slopes, formed by the resulting distribution of the centers of gravity of the signals, are calculated. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
