Abstract
Titanium dioxide thin film with a thickness of few microns was deposit ed on ITO/glass by spray pyrolysis of peroxo-tiatanium complex solutio n as precursor. The deposited TiO2 thin film was investigated for lith ium ion intercalation/deintercalation behavior in organic solvent cont aining lithium ions and subsequently tested for anode material in thin film lithium ion battery. Thin film battery constructed with TiO2 fil m as anode and LiCoOx as cathode has shown a discharge capacity of aro und 65 mA h g(-1) at an average cell voltage of around 2 V.
