Calorimetric measurements of the differential molar adsorption heat of
nonpolar molecules onto molecular sieves reveal that the initial adso
rption heats increase linearly with the molar aluminium fraction of th
e adsorbents, which have the same crystal structure but different chem
ical composition and also increase with the framework density of the a
dsorbents, which have the same chemical composition but different crys
tal structure.
