W. Engewald et al., THE USE OF SHAPE-SELECTIVE STATIONARY PHASES IN GC .1. CYCLODEXTRIN PHASES, Pure and applied chemistry, 65(10), 1993, pp. 2253-2256
Cyclodextrin phases are one of the most interesting geometry selective
stationary phase in GC. They are outstanding in their ability to sepa
rate isomeric and enantiomeric compounds. Two examples of the separati
on of cyclic compounds on cyclodextrins are given. The combination of
chiral and achiral phases in series coupled columns is a useful too fo
r complicate separation and identification problems.
