DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND FAMILY INTERDEPENDENCE

Domestic violence is of major concern to health professionals today. I n order to intervene effectively, more scholarly inquiry needs to addr ess the theoretical parameters of domestic violence. This article ackn owledges the importance of the socio-political analysis while also sug gesting that the concept of family interdependence can be helpful in n ot only understanding family violence, brit in giving direction Sor in tervention at the family level.
