Abstract
The polyanionic polymer poly(maleic acid-alt-2-cyclohexyl-1,3-dioxepin -5-ene), poly(MA-CDA), was developed as an immunomodulator. It was fou nd that the cell affinity of poly(MA-CDA) could be significantly enhan ced by hydrophobic chemical modification. This paper deals with the bi ological activities of poly(MA-CDA) and hydrophobically modified poly( MA-CDA), including immunostimulating activity, antitumour activity and antiviral activity.
