The analysis of stratigraphic data along with various rise since 6,500
B.P. This curve is compared with other recent rise interrupted by a p
eriod of slower sea level rise, followed existence of archaeological s
ites below the present sea-level in other palaeobathymetric indicators
allows us to construct a curve of relative sea level results from the
French Mediterranean. This work indicates two periods of sea level by
a final period of sea level rise which rook place at an enhanced rate
. Also, the the Marseilles area indicates that the eastern part of the
delta is subsiding.
