Abstract
Heterobimetallic chloride alkoxides of the type [M {Zr-2(OPr-i)(8)Cl} (mu-Cl)](2) have been prepared by the reactions of appropriate metal c hlorides, MCl2 (M = Be(II), Mg(II), Zn(II), and Sn(II)) with Zr(OPr-i) (4) in 1:2 molar ratio in benzene. All these derivatives have been cha racterised by elemental analyses, spectroscopic (IR,H-1 and C-13 NMR) studies as well as by molecular weight determinations.
