ON THE DEPENDENCE LIFETIME-DIAMETER FOR BALL LIGHTNINGS

Methods for non-parametric regression have been applied for pair lifet ime and diameter of Ball Lightnings (BLs) that disappear through explo sion, extinction and decay. BLs lifetime increases in case of BL, that disappear through extinction and decay in range of diameters 0.5-100 cm Lifetime of BLs, that disappear through explosion, increases at dia meters smaller than 60 cm and decreases for greater diameters. Compari son with data on experimentally obtained fire balls and with existing theories was conducted Polymer BL theory gives a possibility to explai n obtained results.
