Abstract
Further improvement in blood pressure control at the population level will result from dealing with hard-to-solve problems, such as access t o care, long-term management of a chronic disease, and societal influe nces on lifestyle. Additional knowledge and experimental data are need ed, reinforced by clear public health choices in this direction. Am J Hypertens 1998;11:900-902 (C) 1998 American Journal of Hypertension, L td.
