Abstract
Parallel and conical twin screw extruders as well as single screw extr uders with a grooved feed zone can be individually modified to meet th e increasing demands for high performance extrusion. Additionally, by using a new machine concept it is possible to attain higher output rat es with extruders of smaller size.
