Abstract
The paper shows the existence of a canonical separated hierarchical de composition of the Choquet integral over a finite set. The decomposed system is a hierarchical combination of Choquet integrals with mutuall y disjoint domains, and equivalent to the original Choquet integral. T he paper also gives canonical overlapped hierarchical decompositions o f the Choquet integral over a semiatom.
