[(Arylidenecyanoacetyl)imino]cyclodiphosphazanes 3,4-chloroanilinodich
lorophosphazo (4-nitrobenzylidene) cyanomethyl ketone 5 [(4-substitute
d benzylidenecyanoacetamido) (4-substituted anilino)] chlorophosphazob
enzylidenecyanomethyl ketone 6 and di[(p-nitro-alpha-cyanocinnamoyl) (
p-tolyl)]phosphortiamide 7 were synthesized from the reaction between
cyclodiphosphazanes 1 and arylidene-cyano-acetamides 2. The postulated
mechanism for the formation of such products were rationalized. The s
tructures assigned were supported by UV, IR, H-1 NMR and mass spectra.
