Abstract
The thermal stability and degradation behaviour of poly(4-vinylpyridin e) (PVP) homopolymer and copolymers of 4-vinylpyridine and methyl acry late (VP-MA) have been investigated. The reactivity ratios in the copo lymerization were determined using an NMR method. The apparent activat ion energies of the degradation of the homopolymers and copolymers wer e calculated using the Arrhenius equation. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science L imited. All rights reserved.
