Abstract
The thermoluminescent (TL) properties of typical sand from Rajasthan h as been studied for possible use as high dose gamma dosimeter. The cha nge in shape of glow curve with gamma dose arid the intercomparison re sults of this dosimeter with national standards in the dose range 0.05 -5.0 kGy are reported.
