Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) is experimentally investigated for s
olid hydrogen in the context of the strong coupling. Coherence decay b
ehaviors are measured for the Raman transition of Q(0) (nu = 1 - 0) us
ing the time-resolved coherent anti-stokes Raman-scattering method. We
show that the coherence decay for the Raman transition changes with t
he evolution of the SRS from the weak-coupling regime to the strong-co
upling regime.
