Abstract
Studied are remarkable properties of the fundamental L-operators for t he quantum lattice W-N algebra. Using operators which constitute the e xtended Weyl algebra, we show that the fundamental L-operators satisfy the Yang-Baxter equation. Briefly discussed is the construction of th e generalized lattice sine-Gordon equation. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
