Abstract
The advent of accurate, noninvasive angiography has raised hopes that premorbid screening for cerebral aneurysm will soon be possible. This article discusses the medical and economic issues which will determine the appropriate conditions for, and cost-effectiveness of, large-scal e aneurysm screening.
