Abstract
Condensation of (3) with different reagents gave 3-substituted-1,2,4-t riazolo [1,5-c] pyrimidine and triazolo [3,4-c] pyrimidine derivatives (4,5,8,12). Interaction of (3) with keto-acid afforded pyridazine der ivative (11), while interaction of (3) with ethyl cyanoacetate led to (14). Reaction of 3 with cyanoacetic acid gave (15). Compound (2) with both formic acid and acetic anhydride yielded compounds (16) and (17) respectively.
