Abstract
We prove that the initial value problem associated with the Vlasov-Man
ev system (a Vlasov equation in which a correction of type epsilon/r(2
) is added to the Newtonian or Coulomb potential) has a local in lime
classical and unique solution for sufficiently regular initial data.
