Abstract
The enormous popularity of the Internet has led to competition between trademark holders and domain name registrants for the right to use tr ademark-based domain names. Traditional trademark law and dilution law fail to resolve adequately domain name disputes. In this Comment, Dan ielle Weinberg Swartz analyzes the limitations of current trademark an d dilution law and recommends the creation of a new federal cause of a ction.
