Abstract
The problem of global stabilization for a class of minimum-phase nonli near systems in normal form is addressed using Lyapunov-based techniqu es. The proposed method extends early semi-global stabilization result s. The key point in designing global stabilizers is the use of full-st ate feedback control laws which do not preserve the triangularity of t he system. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
