Abstract
Three new species are described from misidentified collections of New Zealand polypore fungi. Postia globicystidia sp, nov. is characterised by globular cystidial elements arising from generative hyphae. Diplom itoporus cunninghamii sp. nov. has a pseudo-dimitic hyphal system, all antoid spores, and effused-reflexed basidiocarps. Polyporus septosporu s sp. nov. is characterised by occasionally septate basidiospores, wit h 1-3 septa, and basidiocarp tissue staining red in KOH. Inonotus chon dromyelus is newly recorded from New Zealand. All but Postia globicyst idia also occur in Australia.
