D. Tsiklauri et Rd. Viollier, ON THE FORMATION OF DARK-MATTER BALLS COMPOSED OF DEGENERATE, SELF-GRAVITATING NEUTRINOS, The Astrophysical journal, 501(2), 1998, pp. 486-492
We propose a novel scenario for the formation and time evolution of da
rk matter balls composed of degenerate, self-gravitating tau-neutrinos
and antineutrinos. This model is based on the interplay of two compet
ing processes: annihilation of the particle-antiparticle pairs via wea
k interaction and spherical (Bondi) accretion of these particles. Our
model can account for the formation of dark matter balls, which could
play a role similar to that of supermassive (similar to 10(9) M-circle
dot) black holes in active galactic nuclei if the neutrino mass is in
the range 10-25 keV/c(2).
