J. Pflaum et al., TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF THE INTERFACE INTERACTIONS ON FE CR STUDIEDBY FERROMAGNETIC-RESONANCE AND SQUID/, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 34(4), 1998, pp. 1036-1038
To study the interface interactions between ferromagnetic ordered Pe a
nd antiferromagnetic ordered Cr we used Ferromagnetic Resonance (FMR)
Spectroscopy and SQUID magnetometry, For a defined Cr thickness range
the magnetic parameters of the Fe films show an anomalous temperature
behavior which can be related to a change of the intrinsic spin struct
ure of the chromium, the so-called spin-Dip transition. The transition
temperature decreases continuously with decreasing Cr thickness, ceas
ing in a suppression of the transition for Cr films below 60 Angstrom.
