This paper presents the implementation of an isotropic vector hysteres
is model within a two dimensional time periodic Finite Element procedu
re, formulated in terms of magnetic vector potential. The standard Vec
tor Preisach Model is employed and an identification procedure based o
n the scalar Preisach distribution function is used. Nonlinearity is h
andled by means of the Fixed Point technique following the H-convergen
ce scheme. The convergence of the procedure is assessed and the result
s obtained are discussed.
