Jm. Gonzalez et al., MAGNETIZATION REVERSAL MECHANISMS IN COLLOIDAL DISPERSIONS OF MAGNETITE PARTICLES, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 34(4), 1998, pp. 2114-2116
We have studied the structural and magnetic properties of colloids con
sisting of different concentrations of magnetite particles dispersed i
n kerosene. Our data for the temperature dependence of the low field m
agnetization and the saturation coercive force of the samples evidence
d the occurrence, in different temperature ranges, of Neel- and Brown-
type relaxation processes whose characteristics were largely influence
d by strong dipolar interparticle interactions.
