The binding of beta-methyl-pyridine (beta-MePy) to horse heart ferricy
tochorme c (cyt c) was studied by two-Dimensional exchange spectroscop
y. Kinetic and equilibrium data for beta-MePy binding to cyt c have be
en determined. Some hyperfine shifted resonances of beta-MePy-cyt c ha
ve been assigned. Differences between beta-MePy-cyt c and pyridine bou
nd cyt c (py-cyt c) have been disscussed.
