Abstract
The chemical composition of the essential oil of Clinopodium vulgare L . ssp. arundanum (Boiss.) Nyman collected from two different localitie s in Turkey, was analysed by means of GC and CC-MS. Thirty-seven compo unds were identified, representing 89.6-90.5% of the samples. The main constituents of the oils were germacrene-D, beta-caryophyllene and be ta-caryophyllene oxide.
