Abstract
The doping effect of Vanadium in polycrystalline LiTi2O4 material is c arefully analysed. We report on the derailed electrical and magnetic p roperties of Li(Ti1-xVx)(2)O-4 system for 0 less than or equal to x le ss than or equal to 0.05 with an emphasis on the low Vanadium concentr ation. We have an interesting finding to report in that the doping of Vanadium in LiTi2O4, leads to a giant T-c, reduction. The localized ma gnetic moments induced by the Vanadium doping seem to be responsible f or the reduction in T-c. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. A ll rights reserved.
