Abstract
Among several products isolated in the reaction between Ru-3(mu(3)-PhC 2C=CPh)(mu-dppm) (CO)(8) and Me3SiC=CC=CSiMe3 was the )-CPhCC(O)C(SiMe 3)C(C=CSiMe3)CCPh}(mu-dppm)(CO)(7) complex formally obtained by coupli ng of the two diynes and a CO molecule on the Ru-3 framework. Other pr oducts were Ru-4(mu(4)-PhC2C=CPh)(mu-dppm)(CO)(10) and the already kno wn complex Ru-3{mu(3)-PhCCHCC(C6H4)}(mu-dppm)(CO)(8).
