Abstract
A new convenient synthetic method is reported for meso-tetra[4-(carbox ymethylenoxy)phenyl]-porphyrin (TCMOPPH2) comprising two steps from me so-tetra(4-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin nickel (THPPNi) and monochloroaceti c acid. The product was characterized by Uv-Vis, IR, and (HNMR)-H-1 sp ectra.
