Abstract
The title compound, C12H8N2.C20H14O2, was obtained as a 1:1 adduct fro m non-aqueous solutions of the two components. The lattice contains ce ntrosymmetric dimers in which O-H ... O and O-H ... N hydrogen bonding is important. Rotation about the C-C' bond of the binaphthyl moiety p roduces a torsion angle of -85.5 (2)degrees.
