Abstract
A possibility for amplification of image brightness in a strontium vap or has been pointed out for the first time. A regime for image intensi fication in the violet spectral region has been realized experimentall y. An increase in image sharpness was investigated theoretically for a multipass self-conjugate optical system with an active medium.
