THE EFFECT OF EXOGENOUS GLUCOSE ON THE ACTIVITY OF LYSOSOMAL-ENZYMES,THE GLUCOSE AND INSULIN CONCENTRATION IN THE BLOOD-PLASMA OF YOUNG BULLS

Reactivity of eight model lysosomal enzymes in blood plasma of six you ng bulls was investigated. Two injections of exogenous glucose in the amount of 400 mg/kg of body weight were administered. Almost all the i nvestigated enzymes reacted with changes of their activity in interval s 30, 60, and 90 minutes from the introduction of glucose. Insulin and glucose concentration in blood plasma increased after 30 minutes afte r 60 and 90 minutes returned to initial state.
