Abstract
A case of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) terminating in acute mega karyoblastic leukemia (AMKL) is here presented. Megakaryoblasts were i dentified by the presence of platelet peroxidase in the bone marrow as well as in pleural effusion and ascites. The clinical course, morphol ogy and immunologic studies of the blast cells are described in this r eport.
