The effects of intracerebrovenricular administration of ethylholine az
iridinum ion (AF64A) were studied in neurotized male Wistar rats. The
cholinotoxin was bilaterally injected in the dose of 3 nmol. AF64 prod
uced a significant decrease in arterial pressure and activity of respi
ratory enzymes succinate dehydrogenase and NADH-dehydrogenase in hippo
campus and motor cortex. Increase in the local blood flow in the hippo
campus and motor cortex had a compensatory character.
