Abstract
A novel and precise model has been proposed to predict the permeate fl ux for the ultrafiltration of macromolecular solutions, The pressure d eclination in the membrane module and a diffusion coefficient of conce ntration dependence are considered for the derivation of this model. T he fluxes of permeate calculated by this model show a better agreement with the experimental data than those calculated by the model in prev ious work.
