K. Yasuda et Jr. Ye, PROPOSITION OF AN IMPROVED NONPARAMETRIC IDENTIFICATION TECHNIQUE FORNONLINEAR MULTI-DEGREE-OF-FREEDOM VIBRATORY-SYSTEMS, JSME international journal. Series C, dynamics, control, robotics, design and manufacturing, 36(3), 1993, pp. 288-295
In previous papers, we proposed nonparametric identification technique
s of nonlinear multi-degree-of freedom systems. Theoretically, these t
echniques can be applied to systems with any number of degrees of free
dom. In practical cases, however, it has been found difficult to apply
these techniques to systems with greater number of degrees of freedom
, because the unknown parameters for a system become vast as the degre
es of freedom become more numerous. In this paper, an improved techniq
ue is proposed which requires fewer unknown parameters, and which is f
urthermore more convenient for use in succeeding vibration analysis. N
umerical simulation is conducted, and the applicability of the improve
d technique is shown. Its advantage in succeeding vibration analysis i
s demonstrated through using the identification results in the increme
ntal transfer matrix method.
