RETENTION OF NITROSO R-SALT ON ANIONIC RESINS - APPLICATION TO THE PRECONCENTRATION AND SEPARATION OF METAL-IONS

The sorption of Nitroso R-Salt (NRS) on a strongly basic anion exchang e resin (Dowex 1x1, x2 and x10, respectively) was performed. The chela ting resin was used for the uptake and enrichment of trace metal ions. The investigated metal ions were Co(II) and Fe(III). The uptake and r ecovery yields were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry . The behaviour of the chelating-resin was determined in different con ditions. A few examples of the separation of Fe(III) and Co(II) from s ynthetic mixtures were examined by the batch method.
