Abstract
Losartan potassium is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. It has been formulated and marketed as a tablet dosage form (COZAAR(R). A reversed -phase high-performance thin-layer chromatography method has been deve loped for the determination of losartan and its low level dimeric degr adates (E and Fl. The method has been validated and shown to be sensit ive, efficient. and reliable, and can be used as an excellent alternat ive to the HPLC stability testing of losartan potassium in COZAAR(R) t ablets.
