Abstract
Models of native psychotherapy in Argentina are presented. These inclu de vernacular treatments such as chamanismo and popular psychotherapy such as curanderismo. Their origins and manifestations are explained a s well as reasons for their increased popularity at present. Finally t hey are compared to scientific psychotherapy.
