Abstract
Eighty-seven clients presenting for counseling at a large, comprehensi ve university counseling center completed the College Student Reason f or Living Inventory (CSRLI: Westefeld, Cardin, & Deaton, 1992) and sev eral additional instruments as a means of gathering data concerning th e utility of the CSRLI. Results indicate that the CSRLI is a useful to ol for prediction of suicidal risk among college students.
