Abstract
Millikelvin magnetoconductance studies performed in mesoscopic spin-gl ass n(+)-Cd1-xMnxTe wires reveal strong effects of Mn spins upon unive rsal conductance fluctuations. In particular, scattering potential of the frozen spins leads to magnetic and thermal irreversibilities of th e fluctuation patterns. Slowly fluctuating spins, on the other hand, a re an efficient source of conductance noise providing a real-time prob e of spin dynamics. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved .
