We study theoretically a condensate of electron-hole pairs with differ
ent spin orientations. In a mean field description, both the energy an
d the chemical potentials of this system depend strongly on both the s
pin polarization and total density. The phase coherence induced by con
densation of pairs is discussed. When electrons and holes are located
in two separated planes, the system can be either totally spin polariz
ed for a large separation or spin unpolarized for a small separation.
